How to make a Kendo Dummy

While lurking around the net I came across this very interesting site. It has detailed instructions on how to build your own Kendo Dummy.

This would be handy for people like myself (Jason) for becouse of work, I sometimes don't get to do any Kendo for months at a time.

Cas & Tarl's last training session

Ballarat Farewells Tarl and Cass

It was a sad, yet very proud moment for the Ballarat Kendo Club last Thursday when we all said a kendo farewell to two of our most competetive and skilled kendo-ka.

Tarl O'Mara has been training at the BKC for over 14 years and will embark on a three year working holiday to Europe via Japan next week. Over the years Tarl has represented Ballarat at local, state, national and international levels, with excellent achievements in all areas. He has also been a very proactive training partner and coach to everyone who has ever stepped through the BKC doors.

Cass has trained with the BKC for a much shorter time than Tarl, however her strength, tenacity and overall attitude to Kendo and life is something to inspire both young and old.

Cass and Tarl's ever inspiring training sessions and skilled guidance will be missed by all as they fulfill their dream of international work and travel. Best of luck guys and we will see you soon!
